Travelling With A Toddler UK or Abroad

Whether or not you are travelling in the UK or abroad travelling with a toddler is never easy. Over the 3 years of being a parent I have found somethings invaluable for keeping us all sane on journeys whether they be long or short.

So if you are planning a trip this summer this post may be the one for you to give you some inspiration of some pre holiday purchases to make your holiday as stress free as can be.

#1 A travel Pillow

Parker loves nothing more then then a snooze in the car and I am sure the same would be said for a plan ride. I always worry about his neck being comfy enough as well as supported. I have been loving the Little Life Dinosaur pillow. Its super soft and has a magnetic closure and it fits perfectly into the next item we have been using which has been a god send.

#2 A Travel Organiser

If you have a child and a car I think you will agree that your car becomes a moving toy box and litter bin. The Little Life organiser has saved many an argument and missing toy for us. Not to mention the Ipad holder which makes it a lot easier then P holding the ipad and dropping it on his face when he falls asleep. The elastic fastening makes is super easy to fit to any seat and remove when needed.

#3 Cold Remedies

Rather than carrying a whole host of remedies for the holiday colds Breathe Easy patches by Colief are a great portable remedy.

Breathe Easy Patch is a gentle decongestant patch which can be worn on clothing or bedding to offer a comfortable solution for easy breathing. Single use and easy to apply, the Colief® Breathe Easy Patch contains a unique formulation of natural essential oils including eucalyptus, peppermint, lemon and rosemary oils. Each patch is effective for eight hours and is suitable for children over 3+ years.

 #4 Safety Measures

In more recent years a lot of fatal accidents have happened in holiday homes due to CO issues. Following this I take a  CO alarm.

Carbon monoxide (CO) is an extremely dangerous colourless, odourless and tasteless gas emitted when fuel is burned inefficiently. A carbon monoxide alarm is the only certified source of detection.

Project shout were kind enough to provide me with an alarm for my travels which was super easy to use and gave me endless peace of mind. Check them out for more information and informative resources.
