Places I Love To Eat In London

I don’t know about anyone else but I plan my visits to London around where I will go to eat.

After all, I don’t want to eat places I can eat all year round or a stones throw from my home time I like to have things that are different.

Here are a few places I love to eat and why-

Hotel Breakfast Buffet

I always make sure I chose a hotel which has an amazing al a carte buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold foods to choose from and fill up at your leisure.

London is a lot of walking and a lot of fun but in order to be able to walk the long roads and up and down the tube stairs your belly needs to be well lined.

Mid Morning Pit Stop

Around 11am I like to visit a Lola’s Cupcakes for my mid morning pit stop.

I don’t mind whether it’s a food cart on the go or the beautiful store located in Selfridges in Oxford street.

The cupcakes are devine-I devour many on my trip and even take a box home with me on my way back through Kings Cross Station. Naughty I know.

Lunch On The Thames

Nothing beats a bit of street food in London. I find its a place you can find everything and anything. From Crepes to Sunday dinner wraps, Champagne bars to Slush machines. You name it on the bank has everything to please all appetites.

I love that you can sit and take in the sites with a bite to eat from a food van and its surroundings. The bank side of the Thames has some beautiful views you will not be disappointing should you choose to eat here.

Evening Meal

Now this is a topic that gets discussed often with me and the girls I go to London with. The great debate of where to eat our evening meal. We have had it all from 5* Hotels, American Diners, Celebrity chef Restaurants, Famous Eateries and more. On our last visit I won the vote to go to Hard Rock Cafe. We don’t have one local to us and we love the fact you can purchase souvenir glasses to take home with you. I have a cupboard of many. We even make a point of if we are travelling anywhere in the world that has a Hardrock we pay them a visit for a glass.

Late Night Snack

Visiting London usually always consists of seeing a show for us. Its part and parcel of the trip and we really look forward to it. For me its an excuse to stay out late child free, have a few extra drinks and some late night grub.

I love nothing more then at midnight grabbing a wok to go box from a Chinese all you can eat takeaway box. Or a few pounds you choose a box and fill to your hearts content with Chinese goodness.

Lines your tummy perfectly to end the day if you ask me lol
