Dating sites and all over the place these days. Everywhere you turn another company is popping up with a dating app- Why? Because that’s how everyone meets these days.
Who has time to prop up a bar or go speed dating as well as hold down a 9-5 and see friends, family and other commitments.
Some people sift through hundreds of messages and pictures of people online and decide whether to chat to them or not and generally think long and hard before arranging any face to face meetings.
Well thanks to Meetchu You can now Meet before you meet with their new dating app.
I love this concept and feel that so many people will benefit from not wasting there time on face to face dates if they complete this phase of online dating.
What makes Meetchu unique is the fact that rather then you usual text only dating sites, they have an option to voice and video call your date partner too.
Since the launch of the show Catfish I feel a lot of people are put off online dating and this will eliminate this stigma and get more people on the dating bandwagon. So if you don’t like what you see or hear- say goodbye and waste no more time. On to the next one.
The app is super easy to use and you can even connect it to your facebook if you wish. Fill in a short bio, what you’re looking for, and a private gallery of photos that you can reveal to matches if you wish to. It has a vibe of other online dating apps where you swipe left and right but I think that’s great as its a feature that is fast and it works. Although well done for Meetchu for letting you undo the wrongs if you accidentally swipe the wrong way.
Once you’ve matched with someone, you can then chat to them and send a request for a phone or video call. A cool new feature too is adding a video to your profile. This is good if you find speaking easier then typing.
Over all I really like the app, I think the safety feature of chatting through the app before exchanging personal details is fantastic and will help keep online dating safe and above board.
Why not try for yourself-
Have you ever tried Meetchu? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!
